NSW Sales Manager, Energy Storage and Power Solutions Industry

About the role

The role will be responsible for:

  • Selling Battery Energy products and services at acceptable margins to new and existing clients
  • Securing and converting a solid pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Achieving agreed sales budgets for the NSW Region
  • Submission of regular sales pipeline reporting outlining sales activity, strategic sales direction for existing accounts, and identifying new product and customer opportunities
  • Assisting in all key facets of ensuring customer orders are recorded accurately
  • Providing input to new product development opportunities for Battery Energy
  • Build and maintain solid relationships within internal Battery Energy stakeholders
  • Seek out and expand specific market segment opportunities in the Queensland region including but not limited to solar applications, energy storage, communications and rail as well as the continued development of the power segment
  • Ensure that all expenditure if pre-approved in line with company policy 
  • Role may be expanded to include line management responsibilities for the right candidate

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 6-8 years in industrial sales/business development roles in at least one of telecommunications, transport, power/utilities, mining or defence
  • Proven track record of building sales pipelines and converting into new business sales
  • Demonstrated experience in developing trusted relationships with key blue chip accounts and expanding sales with existing clients
  • Strong evidence of ability to work across clients, suppliers, peers and other partners to secure mutually beneficial commercial arrangements of the back of technology applications
  • Sales management and line management experience well regarded
