ORTEC ANZ is looking for a positive and resourceful person to join the Melbourne team in the role of Senior ICT Business and Systems Analyst. You will be part of a small but growing customer focused team, maintaining great customer relationships through expert, efficient, results driven software support and implementation.

As an ICT Business and Systems Analyst you will:

• be the go-to person during sales, project, and go-live, deliver in-depth technical presentations, work through complex Proofs of Concept, and kickoff initial software implementations.
• agree up front with the Project Manager about the scope, budget and deliverables for the entire solution. And you will decide on the project phases (e.g. Design, Build) and individual tasks/actions you and the delivery team will work on.
• via the design and build lists give clear instructions to the team on what needs to be done and how. Oversee the quality of the build. Resolve complex requirements with smart and as simple solutions.
• take responsibility for the end-to-end solution for the customer.
• be the linking pin between our customers and development. You play a vital role in taking customer and prospect feedback and communicating it back to the Product and Development teams to help drive the product roadmap.

We’re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of software architecture and modelling, a knack for design, with work experience in a software solutions organization, specifically for B2B customers in the retail industry.

Who you are

As a Senior ICT Business and Systems Analyst you are adept at leading solution design and implementation. You are skilled in enhancing operational efficiency, standardizing integrations, and fostering high-performing teams. You have a proven track record of successfully guiding projects to fruition, from business analysis to implementation, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.

You have at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience, with 5 years in Logistics and Supply Chain, and you are educated with a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.

Furthermore you have/are

• Comfortable with handling high complexity
• Experienced with .NET technologies, including Azure
• Skilled in configuring SQL Server
• Experienced in software design and architecture: familiar with design patterns, architectural styles like REST, event-driven, micro-services
• Experienced in solution design: taking requirements such as integration and security into account, creating a high-level solution architecture, breaking down in WBS
• Experience in leading workshops with customers
• Able to communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written
• Willing to develop yourself continuously
• Experienced in the Retail industry
• Conscientious in staying abreast of new developments
• Highly knowledgeable in software development, with at least 8-10 years of experience
• Inquisitive, creative and enthusiastic about sharing your ideas and know-how
