This course informs business and government about contracts, delivering critical legal knowledge for anyone who has any exposure to contracts of whatever size, value and type. During the one day intensive program you will examine the law and commercial factors affecting the contract lifecycle, from formation, through performance to completion.

Delivery of infrastructure plays a vital role in shaping our future cities. This unique two-day masterclass provides participants with a sound understanding of infrastructure finance from a practitioner’s perspective. The program is designed to introduce concepts around how infrastructure projects are structured from a commercial and financial perspective. This affects a wide range of consultants involved in shaping infrastructure projects from a planning, design and management perspective.

In this course we look at the best ways to negotiate a successful outcome to internal or external negotiations. Remember that if a contract can be defined as a legally enforceable voluntary agreement between two or more parties then the negotiation is the process that leads up to the creation of the contract. The program also examines common tactics used in negotiations and how to overcome common mistakes made in negotiations, and link them to the different stages of the lifecycle of a contract.

his one-day intensive delivers essential contract management strategies and risk minimisation techniques for private sector managers as well as officers of government departments and agencies. With this knowledge, you can ensure that contracts are managed properly from the outset and remain ahead of potential problems before they arise. You will be provided with the tools to safeguard deliverables and keep them on track at all times. You will also learn to ensure that issues such as delays and other intervening factors which invariably crop up don’t compromise overall contract objectives and key outcomes.
