Salary Range: $77,482 - $88,676  (PN: 34728)

Details: The Environment and Planning Directorate requires an organised, experienced Analyst to assist with the auditing of the Energy Efficiency Improvement Scheme. The Energy Efficiency Audit and Compliance Analyst will inspect energy saving activities, such as space heating, hot water and commercial lighting, in accordance with codes of practice, risk assessments, product registers, auditing, compliance and reporting requirements. The applicant should have experience in the implementation and auditing of energy efficiency activities, legislation or technical regulations of a similar nature to those covering the building and construction industry.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: A current driver’s licence is essential. An Electrical, Plumbing or Gas Fitting licence would be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Auditing, Economics, Accounting, Building or the construction industry would be highly regarded. Some weekend and after hours work may be required.

Note: This is a temporary position available until 30 June 2018 with a possibility of extension to 2021 pending budget outcomes. Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 may be required.
