We are seeking two experienced construction professionals to maintain and promote quality control of road, drainage and concrete construction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect contractor work in private subdivisions to ensure compliance with standards, specifications and approved plans.
• Monitor construction techniques and construction site to ensure they are safe. 
• Conduct inspections of engineering related conditions of planning permits.
• Provide information and advice to City Development on engineering related matters.

Key attributes

• Several years experience in road construction, drainage and concrete works.
• Some inspection experience in the civil construction industry.
• Excellent understanding of OHS and worksite traffic management.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to deal professionally with difficult customers and situations.
• Self motivated and reliable.
