Senior Structural Engineer

Are you an innovative and motivated Lead/Senior Structural Engineer looking to excel in a dynamic, solutions-focused environment? Are you looking for a new challenge, based in Brisbane?

Our client is an expanding engineering and EPC & EPCM group specialising in mining, minerals, and metals. They excel in processing industries and related infrastructure solutions worldwide.

You will play a pivotal role in the structural design of process plants and associated infrastructure, working alongside a talented, multi-disciplined engineering and design team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Structural design of materials handling and processing facility structures including conveyors, bins, and process buildings.
• Develop cost-effective designs tailored to project requirements and client needs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the drafting team, overseeing the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs.
• Prepare schedules for design work, ensuring timely project execution.
• Offer high-level technical support for all structural engineering aspects as required.
• Foster and maintain relationships with multidisciplinary team, clients, and contractors.
• Lead projects/teams (if applicable).

Key Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, with demonstrated design experience in resources processing or mining.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Spacegass. Experience with advanced analysis tools like Strand7 is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in leading projects/teams (if applicable).
• Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and unwavering commitment to safety.
