Electrical Design Engineer - Senior

About the Role
Our clients are currently seeking Electrical Engineers to support multiple projects within the WA Mining and Resources sector in both Studies and Design capacities. These projects cover both Brownfield and Greenfield scopes of work within commodities such as Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Rare Earths.

We are currently inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who are able to demonstrate the following criteria:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for electrical design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Develop and design electrical systems for mineral process plants and bulk material handling conveyor lines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, schematics, and drawings.

Key Criteria

• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years demonstrated experience successfully within design focused teams in similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of greenfield & brownfield engineering work within mining.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience mentoring juniors and/or graduates will be advantageous.
