Windows Engineer Infrastructure Services

The opportunity:

The Infrastructure Services Division of Cenitex is responsible for the support, maintenance and delivery of a range of core services and technologies including Microsoft Windows Server Management, Active Directory, Hosting Virtualisation Platform Management and Cloud based storage technologies.

The Windows Engineer is responsible for:-

  • Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019 Server Builds
  • Provide maintenance and support for Windows 2003 - 2019 Servers
  • Administer Active Directory (Security, Group Policy, Health Monitoring)
  • Trouble shooting techniques with Windows Server OS, DHCP, DNS, File & Print Services & Active Directory on a VMWare Virtualisation Platform
  • Windows Server OS & Event Monitoring
  • Server Patch Management
  • Azure and AWS Cloud maintenance and support

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a large server virtualisation environment P2V and V2V utilising ESX 5.x/6.x and virtual centre
  • Experience with the following technologiesCloud Technologies (AWS / Microsoft Azure)
    • SCCM,
    • Microsoft Clustering,
    • HP hardware and monitoring components,
    • DFS and McAfee AV, and
    • Scripting languages for task automation (Orchestrator, VBScript, PowerShell)
    • Cylance
  • A proven background working with ITIL aligned processes (incident, problem, change and release)
  • Exposure to DevOps and Scrum methodologies
