This terrific national civil contractor has a storied history and is a sustainable business with a great reputation. They undertake the delivery of a broad range of civil projects for clients in both the private and public sectors. Having just secured a new foreshore redevelopment project on WA’s stunning coastline, they now require a top-class civil PROJECT MANAGER to take the helm on site, and lead the team during the delivery of the works over the next 12 months.
  
About the Role
  
This PROJECT MANAGER role is a permanent position working on a FIFO 2/1 roster (ex-Perth only), where you will be given full autonomy and responsibility to manage the project which involves the following elements; civils/piling/landscaping/skatepark. You will join a highly accomplished project team and take responsibility for the successful planning and delivery of the scope of works and the overall commercial success of the project. While leading the team as PROJECT MANAGER you will work to develop the team culture while managing the client interface and key stakeholder liaison. Accommodation will be provided in a fully self-contained unit so you will be very comfortable while working away. This role will suit a tertiary qualified PROJECT MANAGER with around 10 years post-graduate experience on civil projects valued up to at least $20m. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $160-180K Base + Super, 20% Site uplift, Vehicle & Super .
  
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements   

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of civil construction experience as PROJECT MANAGER in Australia on Earthworks, Land Scaping, Utilities, Drainage or Road & Streetscape Construction
• Minimum 5-10 years overall civil industry experience working for Civil Contractors in Australia
• Previous experience on foreshore development projects in Western Australia will be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge and understanding of construction contracts AS2124
• Natural leadership skills and ability to positively manage the client interface
• Able to provide 2 favourable references from the last 5 years
• Currently Perth/WA based with existing rights to work in Australia
• Current C Class WA Driver’s Licence
• Available within 4 weeks’ notice period
