The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is looking to fill specialist technical roles in the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC). These roles encompass activities across the ACSC cyber remit and provide a unique opportunity to join the Australian Government’s lead agency on national cyber security. The ACSC brings together cyber security capabilities from across the Australian Government to improve the cyber resilience of the Australian community and support the economic and social prosperity of Australia in the digital age.

ACSC operates in incredibly challenging and dynamic technical and operational environments. As a member of the ACSC, you will out-think and out-imagine some of the most testing adversaries and problems imaginable. Your work will provide direct support to the delivery of information and cyber security advice and assistance to federal and state government agencies, industry and the community, and will directly impact Australia’s national security and the protection of critical assets and information. Any and all information technology experience is valuable so we are seeking committed technology professionals with a range of experience, from graduates to seasoned experts to fill such roles as:

  • Software Developer
  • Enterprise Architect
  • Analyst
  • System or Network Administrator
  • Penetration Tester
  • Project Manager
  • Engineer
  • Control Systems specialists
  • Malware Analyst
  • Security Operations
  • Technical Writer
  • Incident Responder

The job offers 15.4% superannuation in addition to a competitive salary. Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, some roles may attract additional salary / bonus dependent on skills and qualifications. The majority of positions will be located in Canberra, ACT with some located in Melbourne, VIC.
