Band 6 $77,474 - $84,329 per annum plus 9.5% statutory superannuation

Job Description:

Would you like to become a valued member of our enthusiastic Strategic Planning Team?

This is an opportunity for a town planner to join our strategic planning team to deliver a wide range of strategic planning projects and Planning Scheme Amendments in a supportive team environment. 

Ideally, you will be experienced in statutory or strategic planning and will hold a relevant tertiary qualification. However, recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

If you have a passion for Strategic Planning and a desire to make a real difference to the community, we look forward to receiving your application.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:

• Demonstrated ability to achieve the position objectives and responsibilities within specified time frames.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment as a team member.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to liaise with a broad range of people.
• Advanced computer software skills, including high level knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other relevant computer software programs.
• Tertiary qualification in town planning or relevant tertiary qualification and previous experience in a similar position.
