About the Role

Evoenergy is looking for a professional and motivated leader to join our team as the Vegetation and Inspections Manager. Reporting to the Group Manager Network Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of 21 employees to plan and deliver vegetation inspection and maintenance works, and asset inspection programs.

The person in this role will have a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, network reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage our vegetation management to ensure network performance
  • Manage the annual asset inspection programs
  • Oversee work plan assessments to meet delivery requirements
  • Provide commercial analysis and review of contracts associated with the section
  • Mentor the team to build their capabilities, meet strategic objectives and seek continuous improvement

We would like you to have:

  • Experience in leading a team to achieve business outcomes and promote a safety culture
  • Experience in project/program management and delivery, and operations (preferably within the electricity industry)
  • Experience in developing operational and strategic plans
  • Demonstrable business and financial acumen
  • Qualifications in engineering, management or trade qualifications in electro-technology or similar
