Ships Division, within Defence's Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Materiel Data Management Officers to support the Commonwealth Government's Naval Shipbuilding program.

Ships Division is responsible for a diverse range of shipbuilding and capability upgrade projects, the largest and most complex of which is the procurement of Future Frigates for the Royal Australian Navy.

A Materiel Data Officer at the APS4 level is sought, with acquisition experience, to assist with program outcomes, with a vision to establishing an ongoing major warship build program.  APS4 level staff in the Department are expected to contribute to achieving team objectives.

The successful candidates may be required to travel interstate and overseas.
