The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) purchases and maintains military equipment and supplies in the quantities and to the service levels that are required by Defence and approved by Government.

The Submarine Combat System Program within CASG is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition, design, development, implementation and introduction into service for the Combat Systems for Australian's new class of submarine as well as several systems for the existing Collins class of submarine.

As an APS6 Integrated Logistics Support Manager, based in Canberra, ACT you will assist in the definition, review and implementation of the ILS requirements for submarine communications projects.  You will be responsible to the Integrated Logistics Support Manager - Communications Projects for the provision of integrated logistics support services for submarine communications projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the communications project engineering team, Defence stakeholders and Industry to ensure the required project ILS arrangements are established and delivered.

The successful candidate will provide the necessary leadership, management and governance of the activities performed by the Communications Project ILS team.

The successful candidate may be required to travel interstate and overseas.

Employment will be offered on an ongoing (permanent) or non-ongoing (temporary) basis.
