The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) purchases and maintains military equipment and supplies in the quantities and to the service levels that are required by Defence and approved by Government.

The Submarine Combat System Program within CASG is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition, design, development, implementation and introduction into service for the Combat Systems for Australian's new class of submarine as well as several systems for the existing Collins class of submarine.

As the EL 1 Integrated Logistics Support Manager (Acquisition) -Communications Projects, based in Canberra, ACT you will work within the Submarine Combat System Program reporting to the Project Manager Submarine Communications Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of integrated logistics support (ILS) for the communications projects and act as the ILS subject matter expert for the projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications Project Engineering Manager, Defence stakeholders and industry to ensure the required project ILS arrangements are established and delivered.

The successful candidate will provide the necessary leadership, management and governance of the activities performed by the Communications Project ILS team.

The successful candidate may be required to travel interstate and overseas.

Employment will be offered on an ongoing (permanent) or non-ongoing (temporary) basis.
