The SMART Infrastructure Facility, at the University of Wollongong, Australia, is a world class comprehensive research and teaching facility of integrated laboratories that addresses the way that infrastructure related disciplines are taught and researched.

This research centre, a valued entity of the Faculty of Engineering & Information Sciences, provides an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled individual to join a committed and outcomes-oriented team and assist in driving the unique and nationally significant brand of the SMART Infrastructure Facility.

SMART is currently recruiting for an Associate Research Fellow – Transport Modelling, to make significant research contributions in the domain of transport modelling, agent based modelling, urban modelling and/or spatialized demographic modelling, transport modelling, decision support systems, logistics, agent based modelling, urban modelling and/or spatialized demographic modelling. They will also contribute to on-going modelling efforts and commissioned research undertaken within SMART’s Infrastructure Modelling and Simulation research group.

The position will work collaboratively across the University, especially with relevant colleagues in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, and with SMART stakeholders including government agencies, businesses and research organisations.
