About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced Senior Operational Programs Engineer to work with our Water & Sewer Branch. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of contracts for operational and minor capital projects, ensuring water and sewer quality standards, operational design and procurement standards are met.
Reporting directly to the Manager Water and Sewer, this role provides highly developed problem solving skills, contract and project management ability and excellence in customer service to support water and sewer operations and asset maintenance.
Salary for this position is based on skills, experience and qualifications and will range from $88,673 up to $102,861 p.a. plus superannuation, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance and access to a leaseback vehicle.
About You
In addition to a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, you will have extensive process and contract management experience within the water and sewer industry, specifically in treatment operations, coordination of resources, management of budgets and use of procurement, quality and asset maintenance systems.
The successful applicant will also have the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally to optimise business efficiency and deliver project outcomes.
