  • Part-time, flexible work arrangements
  • Two positions available

Lithgow City Council is building the Water and Waste Water team into a dynamic long-term unit to meet Lithgow’s emerging needs. Council is looking to increase the project engineering capability to support the team in this endeavour for up to three years. We are seeking highly experienced engineers willing to share their experience and mentor the team.

Are you at a stage in your life when you are transitioning to retirement or seeking lifestyle change and have expertise to offer? If so, this role is perfect for you.

Lithgow offers a truly unique lifestyle and is at the start of an exciting transitional period to harmonise its urban, industrial, and rural qualities that are unmatched in the Central West. Lithgow is a city looking to the future to pursue its vision of sustainable economic development and community harmony.

Ideally, you will be an energetic and self-motivated, qualified engineer, with demonstrated management experience in delivering water and waste water services, and success in delivering capital projects. Your outstanding communication and influencing skills, ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, and understanding of government will be key to your success.

Attractive remuneration with a fixed-term employment offer will be negotiated with the right people.
