We have the following contract positions available with NSW Government working on Planning Assessments for Water Infrastructure:

• Planning Officer, $54-$58 hour + super
• Senior Assessment Planner $64-$68/hour + super
• Senior Planning Officer $64-$68/ hour + super
• Principal Planning Officer, $70-$76/hour + super

These roles will sit under the Water Assessment team. The team is responsible for assessing water resources proposals across the whole of NSW which are designated as State Significant Infrastructure.

About the Role:

• Produce high quality work on a wide range of planning matters
• Identify complex, sensitive and emerging issues, and review and develop policy to improve the delivery and coordination of master plans for Special Activation Precincts
• Assisting with the delivery of strategic master plans in a high pressure environment
• Provide advice on planning systems, water resource management and infrastructure development
• Assessment of complex infrastructure proposals

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Planning, Engineering or Environmental Management
• Experience with State Significant Developments and Environmental Impact Statements
• Drivers Licence
• Fully Vaccinated
