Due to business growth through project wins, this is a brand new opportunity for a HSEQ Co-ordinator based in their Adelaide facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will undertake a hands-on role and be responsible for co-ordinating safety and quality programs to ensure contract compliance. Certifications and mature systems exist, so you will be required to learn the current structure with the view to development with the aim of zero harm and continuous improvement through all systems and processes. This role is hands on including shop floor and office based activities.
The suitable candidate will posses the following:
- A minimum of Certificate IV in OH&S / WHS
- Formal qualifications in quality preferred
- A trade background and/or engineering qualification will be highly favourable
- Experience in a construction/manufacturing/heavy industry sector
- Existing PC and computing skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Have the ability to build relationships and rapport with all levels of staff
- Excellent communication skills
