We are looking for a Production Manager to lead, oversee and coordinate the team by being accountable for ensuring all supervisors and contractors are delivering on time and within budget, ensuring a safe work environment.
About the role:
- Review planning deliverables - build strategy/site plan/waterfall chart/P6 schedule/Resource Plan Review supply chain deliverables - MTO/EOL/Subcontractor Activities
- Collaborate with trades and PCM to deliver weekly activity plans for supervisors
- Delivery of information (design/work instructions/SOP) JIT to point of use
- Delivery and balancing of resources
- Build progress in accordance to schedule
- Promote and implement continual improvement initiatives through corrective actions arising from incidents or non-conformance's
- Issue/risk/constraint management effectiveness
- HSE&Q Standard conformance, holding self and others accountable
- Accurate schedule status each week
- Product conformance prior to customer check - work complete in full to standard
- Promote and drive a culture of continual improvement (share successes) and actively eliminate waste Coach/mentor supervisors
- Supports supervisors to train and develop workers
What you will need:
In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience
- Able to pass a baseline clearance
- Relevant or aligned Trade Qualifications (marine engineering experience)
- 3 Years as a supervisor (minimum)
- Excellence influence and negotiation skills
- Senior First Aid Certificate - Desired
- Proficient in MS Office suite including Word and Excel
- HSEQ Knowledge in a marine environment
