This is a permanent full-time position within Council’s Environment, Development & Strategic Planning Section. The salary range for the position is $84,062-$100,246, plus Civil Liability Allowance, Superannuation, and has access to a leaseback vehicle.

The position will be based initially Grafton but this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

The purpose of the position is to provide technical engineering support to the Manager in the delivery and coordination of Council’s strategic planning program, Developer Contribution Plans, natural resource management responsibilities and associated tasks. You will also process the engineering component of development applications including assessment and advice on consent determinations and supervision and certification of related civil works.
