We are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Research Scientist to join our ‘Hydrogen and Gasification Innovations’ team within CSIRO Energy business unit!
As Australia's national science agency, CSIRO is delivering science and technology to enable Australia's energy transition towards net-zero emissions, and we are pioneering in low-emission technologies that create value for industry & households, and provide the research that will inform decision makers and help guide Australia towards a smart, secure energy future.
In this diverse role, you will be based at the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT), as a key member of our CSIRO ‘Low Emissions Technologies’ Program. You will bring your valuable research expertise to develop, deliver and expand a range of applied research projects, that have a focus on gasification and thermochemical processing to produce hydrogen and low emissions energy applications including gas-to-products/liquid fuels. You will also have a vital strategic role in applying your well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and networks to grow CSIRO’s capabilities in the area.

Salary: AU$121K – AU$142K pa + up to 15.4% superannuation
