Therefore, CSIRO Manufacturing business unit is currently seeking a driven and experienced Senior Quantum Sensor Scientist to join our collaborative and dynamic ‘CSIRO Quantum Sensors Group’ based in Lindfield NSW, to expand our quantum research capability and work towards ensuring Australia remains at the forefront of this new technology.
As a Senior Quantum Sensor Scientist, you will join our ‘Quantum Devices’ team, that uses CSIRO’s world-leading scientific capability in High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) electronic devices, circuits, and sensors to develop advanced magnetometry. You will be responsible for the design, fabrication, programming and documentation of superconducting quantum sensors, and a key focus of your role will be utilising your expertise to develop superconducting devices towards field testing and commercialisation. You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in a range of CSIRO’s industry-revolutionising projects.
