The Opportunity
The role of Technical Services staff in CSIRO is to provide support for scientific research in a diverse range of laboratory and field situations across a range of different research projects. This particular role is for an electronics engineer or technician with knowledge of electronics and instrumentation and with experience in problem solving, mechanical aptitude and independent working.
The Seagoing Electronics Engineer will work at sea aboard the CSIRO Marine National Facility research vessel, the RV Investigator. The primary focus will be contributing to successful research voyages and delivering scientific outcomes for the Marine National Facility and its clients, by operating and maintaining scientific equipment on the research vessel and ashore.

Salary: AU$62K – AU$79K + up to 15.4% superannuation
