Data61 has an opportunity for a talented and experienced Product Manager with a passion for understanding users, a deep understanding of the technology sector, and a strong track record of translating market needs into real solutions.
In the role of Product Manager you will use your broad range of skills, tech/domain knowledge and networks to identify high-value market/customer problems in areas of strategic importance to Data6, and develop product strategies and roadmaps for selected opportunities. In areas where Data61 prioritises investment in product/platform development, you will work closely with development and research teams in order to develop/pilot Minimum Viable Product (MVPs) or achieve other outcomes that support the relevant commercial strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will need to develop sound working relationships with all parts of Data61, including Engineering & Design, Business Development & Commercialisation, and research function. The ability to influence teams and build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is critical to this role where the primary focus will be on building out Data61’s national spatial data strategy in conjunction with our partners.
Location: Negotiable
Tenure: Specified term of 3 years
Salary: $134K - $148K + up to 15.4% superannuation
