Packaged Remuneration Range: $85 607 to $106 454* Science and Engineering Professional Band 2

We are seeking a water quality officer to oversee the drinking water and wastewater monitoring for 72 remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory.

As part of a small and diverse team, you will monitor, report upon and work to improve the performance of drinking water supply and wastewater treatment and disposal systems in remote communities.

You will require a relevant degree in science or engineering; and experience in water and wastewater quality monitoring, guidelines, parameters and sampling procedures. In addition, experience in improving the performance of water and wastewater treatment systems; and performing high level analysis of water quality data for the purposes of informing stakeholders and decision making is essential.
