An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced civil engineer in the Alice Springs Regional Office

The Northern Territory Department of Infrastructure provide services as the Northern Territory’s central construction authority, solely responsible for the delivery of the Territory’s infrastructure program. 

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced civil engineer in the Alice Springs Regional Office. The Manager Civil Roads Projects, supports the Regional Director and provides high level technical expertise and direction on civil design and construction projects and management of civil assets throughout the region. 

The role is responsible for leading several direct reports and managing a team of people in the day to day operations of the branch as well as providing guidance, direction and technical leadership of the civil works program. 

To be suitable for this role, you must have extensive design and project management experience in the development and delivery of Capital Works, Minor New Works and Repairs and Maintenance of civil works programs, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders in a client project delivery model.
