This position will be instrumental in developing, implementing and maintaining PTV’s assurance management systems process. The role includes identifying the assurance activities that must be addressed, prioritising these through a risk based assurance plan, ensuring both compliance and conformance obligations are being met.
This role is both an inwardly facing role in conducting assurance activities within the business, as well as externally performing assurance activities on franchisees and contractors to ensure contractual compliance
As the ideal candidate for this role you will demonstrate proven experience in the application of assurance principles ideally within a rail/road infrastructure project. Tertiary qualified in an Engineering based/ relevant field or equivalent experience combined with public transport experience you will also hold an appropriate qualification in auditing.
With strong operational experience with assurance systems and processes you will possess excellent understanding of quality management systems including ISO9001 requirements and you will have highly developed assurance skills with strong capabilities in conducting operational audits and producing detailed audit reports.
You will bring to PTV a good understanding of the delivery of major projects within a government context preferably within public transport.
You demonstrate strong skills in development and compilation of high quality technical documents and reports and you will excellent knowledge of business and performance management systems and processes.
Overall, your ability to apply conceptual and analytical skills to analyse and resolve complex problems coupled with your personal drive and integrity to delivery results will round off your profile.
