The City of Bunbury Works and Services Department is seeking a new Manager Engineering and Civil Operations. As the Manager Engineering and Civil Operations you will effectively manage and deliver on the departments daily business operations.
This position will effectively lead, manage and develop department employees, services and resources as well as, plan develop and maintain practical and sustainable engineering infrastructure.

per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Contribute to the effective management and coordination of Engineering and Civil Operations.
- Provide professional leadership, guidance and support to Engineering and Civil Operations employees.
- Stakeholder engagement.
- Development and review of City plans and budgets.
- Develop and report on the Engineering and Civil Operations departmental Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships and networks.
- Monitor Engineering and Civil Operations financial performance.
- Ensure departments Continuous Improvement and Quality
- Management procedures enhance the Departments activities and functions.
- Provide professional Engineering expertise.
- Provide quality civil engineering designs that meet the needs of the Council and stakeholders.
The key skills required for this role include:
- Management experience
- Substantial experience in civil engineering and infrastructure
- Leadership
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Tendering and contract management
- Employee relations
