Senior Project Officer - Capital Works

Exciting opportunities have become available at City of Darwin for two experienced Project Officers to join our Capital Works Team within the Infrastructure Department.

Do you possess extensive experience in managing the delivery of construction projects in the government and/or private sector?

Can you effectively consult and communicate with both internal and external clients?

Then this might be the opportunity for you.

These new positions have been created to assist with the delivery of significant capital works projects that City of Darwin will be completing over the coming years. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development, delivery and management of the Capital Works program, including managing budgets, timelines and stakeholder consultation.

A competitive salary package is offered including 6 weeks annual leave and generous personal leave.

The successful candidates will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in the delivery of civil constructions and/or other construction projects. You will need to have experience and skills in managing staff, contractors, stakeholders, budgets, timelines and in the development and implementation of works programs.
