The Vocational Education and Training (VET) Faculty of Charles Darwin University delivers a large range of nationally accredited full-time, part time and online educational programs to a wide variety of school leavers, job seekers, apprentice/trainees and upskilling of existing workers under the National VET Quality Framework.

As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor in Building Design Drafting you will contribute to VET teaching and assessment programs in campus classrooms, workshops and within the workplace operating under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the competency standards of the Property Services Training Packages.

To be successful, you need to have a qualification in Building Drafting, or relevant Trade experience in the field, a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and the ability to operate current industry software. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner are essential.

Special features include the need for a Class C licence or higher and experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Suites.
