Planning and Development Engineer
Position number VG/4303D

A city job in a regional centre, this position provides opportunities to gain experience in the planning of a diverse range of projects, and includes responsibility for asset replacement, upgrades and decommissioning projects for urban water and wastewater, and rural water supply services.

The position coordinates engineering input to statutory planning referrals and ensure all developments are designed to acceptable standards. The position works closely across multiple business groups, external contractors and consultants to ensure thorough technical analysis and engagement in project planning. 

The position is responsible for following capital works planning processes to enable efficient and effective procurement and delivery of capitals works through annual programs and the corporate plan.
