This key leadership role is both strategic and operationally focused. It reports to the Director of Infrastructure and is tasked with ensuring the City’s building design, construction, refurbishment and maintenance services are pro-active and consistent with the vision and intended outcomes articulated in the City’s Strategic Community and Corporate Business Plans.
We seek a self-motivated leader with a comprehensive knowledge of building design, construction and asset management for this position. Personal integrity and high calibre process improvement and project management skills are essential. Degree level qualifications in Architectural / Building related disciplines or similar, relevant to Municipal Building construction and maintenance are anticipated and additional post graduate qualifications in management will be considered highly.

The City will offer an employment contract of up to five (5) years with a base salary in the range of $156,742 to $172, 417 (subject to remuneration review), plus 9.5% superannuation. It will also match additional superannuation contributions up to a maximum 6% and provide private use of a motor vehicle (nominal package value $15,000).
