ICT Services Manager

The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and experienced Information, Communication and Technology Service Manager who has strong, demonstrated technical skills in an Australian Government context. We are looking for a professional and self-motivated ICT Services Manager to lead an ICT team to provide desktop support for AHL employees across Australia.

Candidates are expected to:

  • Provide high quality advice and client service on ICT matters;
  • Respond with assistance to general enquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Contribute and promote a client focused culture within the team;
  • Communicate with influence when dealing with clients and stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have desirable skills such as:

  • Ability to respond to client and stakeholders needs and expectations;
  • Communicating clearly, by confidently presenting messages in a clear and concise manner;
  • Working collaboratively and operating as an effective team member;
  • Responding in a positive and flexible manner to change and uncertainty;
  • Committing energy and drive to see that goals are achieved and remaining positive and responds to pressure in a calm manner;
  • Understanding and application of whole of government ICT policies such as the DTA's Digital Service Standard and the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • A basic understanding of Government ICT Procurement

Candidates should have a minimum of five years demonstrated experience in ICT delivery roles, such as customer engagement, developer, and service desk or infrastructure/network engineer.
