Our Capital Projects Department is looking for experienced project managers to deliver a range of assigned capital projects across the City.   Diverse in their scope, size and complexity, projects may involve streetscapes, buildings, landscapes, recreation infrastructure, ground renovations and irrigation.

These roles involve the complete project lifecycle and a major focus on stakeholder management and engagement to mitigate risks and communicate the value of projects to the community.  Project Managers are also responsible for cost monitoring, specifications, contract documentation and reporting.

Key attributes

• Demonstrated experience in project management in construction management (civil or building) or recreation facilities, including projects with significant social and cultural considerations. 
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with a range of stakeholders (both external and internal, including Councillors).
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and consultation skills.
• Good knowledge of the construction industry and an understanding of local government.
• Excellent judgement and decision making skills
