We currently have a fantastic opportunity for 2 Graduate Project Officers to join our Asset Solutions team.  Our graduate program offers the opportunity to be employed in a fixed term 2 year graduate position, with successful graduates being encouraged to apply for vacancies towards the tail end of their contract period.

As a Graduate Project Officer you will work with us to gain experience and training in understanding how to project manage Hunter Water’s portfolio of assets.  This position will provide the opportunity for the successful Graduates to develop their professional project management skills across a range of projects.

This role offers a base salary of $68,478, plus Superannuation contributions of 9.5%. Furthermore, this position will receive 3 additional public holidays per year, the option to participate in receiving RDOs, and has access to a range of discounts with various partners that are available for employees to utilise.
 
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering related discipline - completed or if currently completing, in the final semester
  • Proactive and engaged approach to learning and professional development
  • Model Hunter Water's organisational values
  • Class ‘C’ Drivers’ Licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills practically in the workplace
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office and aptitude to learn relevant software programs
