About the opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Operations you will provide sound advice, consultation, development and maintenance for diverse, specialized, scientific instrumentation and support specialist applications to best meet the requirements of research projects and teaching programs in the School of Chemistry. In this role you will utilise your expertise in advanced scientific instrumentation along with an understanding of customised integration of software with hardware to provide critical instrument and computer support that is out of scope of ICT support.
You will also provide complementary research and teaching services though systems analysis, fault diagnosis and repair of a broad range of specialised scientific instrumentation.
