What will you do?

In this position you will join our Energy business, where you will play an integral part in delivering rail traction power projects. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most significant infrastructure projects in Australia.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Developing and reviewing electrical calculations, drawings, specifications and other design documentation.
• Site inspections for compliance with design and standards and identification of issues and risks
• Apply a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation and standards as they apply to projects
• Prepare detailed designs for rail traction power projects

We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need an electrical engineering degree and preferably experience working on rail projects. Experience with TfNSW, Metro and/or Sydney Trains is desirable, however not essential.
