About the Role

You will be a key part of the ANZ Services Team, providing support for scheduled and unscheduled servicing of wind turbines and site infrastructure and be able to perform and ensure the proper maintenance and fault finding of the assets. You will be responsible for the preparation of work programs for the timely servicing assets and organise the daily work plans for the contractors on site. For this you need to be able to interpret the requirements of GE manuals, specifications, bulletins, work instructions, etc. and devise work plans including all required resources. Other responsibilities can include but are not limited to;

• Form part of an on-call roster to work weekends and nights if required or as directed by management
• Perform high voltage switching operations according to site procedures as required
• Submit enquiries to Engineering to ensure technical issues are resolved
• Make a conformance or non-conformance decision upon completion of inspections
• Report any injuries, spills, near misses or related incidents and Any concerns about possible violations of this policy and Any concerns about a possible request to violate this policy
• Be familiar with and follow all EHS policies, and procedures as well as cooperate with GE investigations and EHS audits
   

About You

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician or a qualified mechanic with electrical aptitude, be proficient in fault finding electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment and be trained to an intermediate level in computer skills. You must have a positive attitude and the ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights
