We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated planner with to join our Strategic Planning and Urban Design Unit. You will be developing planning controls and policy responses to complex urban development issues as part of a multidisciplinary strategic planning team.

You will have tertiary qualifications in planning or a related discipline with experience in the research, preparation, review and implementation of strategic planning policy, particularly statutory plans, development controls, strategies or supporting policy. You will also have a well-developed ability to research and analyse complex and sensitive development issues and propose solutions to these complex issues.

Excellent communication skills are also required for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders and the preparation of comprehensive reports. You will have a proven track record in meeting strict deadlines, balancing and responding flexibly to competing priorities and working effectively as part of a team.
