Are you looking to take ownership of the training of an extensive portfolio? We have a great developmental opportunity for a technical trainer to join our head office team in Notting Hill servicing our safety equipment, while providing technical support and training to the national team. Be the point of call for complex servicing for the equipment in our Air and Protection portfolio including breathing apparatus, air compressors, and chemical suits.

 

Who you are

If you’re a self-starter, well presented and trade qualified, this position is just what you’ve been waiting for. You will have:

  • A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Pneumatics or Fire Engineering preferred);
  • Completed, or eager to complete, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment with experience in conducting one-on-one and group training;
  • Prior service experience working with pneumatics, compressors and/or high-pressure air equipment would be an advantage;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, eager to take on training duties; and
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office.

 

Your role

In this position you will service Dräger’s safety equipment range in our Notting Hill workshop, and travel across Australia and New Zealand to support the development of field technicians. Your tasks will include:

 

  • Provide specialised technical service support on assigned portfolio;
  • Conduct technical training to internal and external customers;
  • Develop technical training material with support from the Technical Training Manager;
  • Maintenance, repair and testing of Dräger safety products; and
  • Provide a high level of service and support to our customers.
