Construction and engineering specialist Theiss has announced it has signed a new contract to deliver further civil works on the Chevron-operated Gorgon Project in Western Australia.

Under the agreement, Theiss will deliver $212 million worth of miscellaneous civil works over the next two years.

Theis Managing Director, Bruce Munro, expressed his delight with the project, saying it’s a key opportunity to further develop an operational relationship between the two companies.

“LNG Projects like Gorgon are providing major economic and employment benefits to the national, state and local economies,” Mr Munro said.

The miscellaneous works covered under the new contract may include earthworks, underground services, concrete works and temporary building works.
